Snowing Al-Aqsa Mosque

BAITULMUQADDIS - Al-Aqsa Mosque and the majority of Israel and the Palestinian territories today covered with snow for the first time in four years.

More heavy snow was reported down in the region of Galilee, northern Israel and the West Bank Hebron area.

Israeli radio stations reported that schools in areas most affected have been closed due to snow and inter-city bus service is canceled.

Thick pile of more than three meters of snow was recorded at the peak of MountHermon in the Golan Heights which Israel controlled snowing since last Wednesday.

This phenomenon is the first place since heavy snow down in this city in winter 2008.
